Diana Mera is a Latin Pop singer-songwriter, born in Quito, Ecuador. Direct descendant of author of Ecuador’s National Anthem Juan Leon Mera. Diana’s videos have been featured in Univision, Televisa, Telemundo and MTV-Español. Diana is also a Songwriter, Host & Actor. Mera has been nominated for an Arizoni for Best Supporting Actress in The Vagina Monologues and another nomination for the e-Music Music Awards for Best Female Vocalist.
Diana Mera made history at the Latin Billboard Awards in 2012 for kissing her ex-girlfriend for the first time ever at a main red carpet event. Diana has been featured multiple times by CNN, Azteca, Telemundo and Univision.
At this time her single Sobreviviente has transformed the lives of many due to his empowering lyrics. Mera shot a Music Video with 20 real survivors including Spoken Soul Festival Sisters whom she has strong bonds.

Diana Mera stopped being a female on May 21st, 2018 and became Valentín Mera legally and medically. He is now enjoying a fruictious career as an Electronic Urban Pop Spanglish artist, composer and producer. He now produces himself.
